Nick Hawkins
Founder of Maestro Music LtdĀ
Music has always been at the centre of my life. Growing up, I was a keen ballroom dancer and it was through those rhythms and performances that I first discovered my love for jazz, swing and big band music. That early spark has stayed with me, and today I still perform as a singer with big bands, keeping that energy alive on stage.
Through Maestro Music I work with schools across the West Midlands, giving children from Nursery to Year 6 the chance to experience music in a way thatās exciting, creative and bursting with energy. My curriculum is designed to get every child involved, to spark confidence and to make music a highlight of their week.
Beyond the classroom, I lead two thriving choirs in Harborne and Solihull. Theyāre welcoming, uplifting communities where people come together, find their voice and share the thrill of singing in harmony.
My goal is simple: to make music fun, inspiring and open to everyone.

Co-Founder of Maestro Music LtdĀ
Music has shaped my life from the very beginning, and Iāve dedicated my career to building opportunities for young people to experience its full impact. At my music school,Ā Music Academy Midlands weāve created a performance-driven journey that shows students the true meaning of becoming a musician within bands, at our holiday clubsĀ and individual lessons.
That journey is packed with opportunities not just to develop skills, but to build resilience, confidence, discipline, and personal growth and now with Maestro Music, we can partner with schools to deliver exciting and effective whole-class music from Nursery to Year 6, ensuring every child has access to a high-quality, inspiring curriculum.
āļøĀ Our mission is clear: to empower young people through music, giving every student the confidence, creativity, and a community that only music can provide.
